Nidd lane, Birstwith - Wednesday 2nd July 2014

Barry, Catriona, Chris, Roger & I (Richard the Younger) braved what was promised to be the hottest day of the year to continue our efforts in the improvement of Birstwith and it's environs. The day was not as hot as had been foreseen but thankfully a bonfire was laid on to allay any possible disappointment with the temperature.

Unfortunately neither potatoes nor sausages were available with which to make the very most of our roasting circumstances.

Barry, Chris and Roger concentrated on the middle of the three sections,
whilst Catriona and I were able to finish of the eastern most section in the morning and then move on to raising the western most part of the wall in the afternoon.
