Just three wallers this week. Graham, Barry and I spent a morning hoisting toppers on and an afternoon moving stone down to the new section of wall ready for later this year.

Stump removed
The stump no longer impedes our progress. With the right tools for the job, and only a single entendre is intended here, Graham and Rod were able to get the whole stump out with a mornings work. Which unfortunatley I missed with my camera.
Tony, Catriona and I continued to add stone to the wall to bring it to below topper height and after lunch we were aided by the stump grubbers.
Rod also found a small shard of Medieval pottery which is our first find that could be contemporary with the construction of the wall. At the close of the day I took it up to the Hall for them to look after.
