Murmurations

Catriona and myself nearly completed another two courses before the unexpected rain accompanied by very strong winds forced us to leave just after lunch.

Nature provided a splendid backdrop during the morning. A large hare came to greet us as we walked to the wall, no more than 10 metres away, and looked at us for a while before wandering off.  The morning was marked by spectacular murmurations of starlings, not sure where they had come from, plus a visit by three buzzards. Nice blue skies at times ruined by with intermittent rain and squalls.
