On arriving in the car park we were greeted by a coach load of visitors and thought they may have come to view the Park Pale. No they had come to have a look around the hall as part of a Historic Houses of Yorkshire tour from way down south.
Meanwhile a quartet of wallers (Catriona, Matthew, Richard & Tony) made the journey to the park pale.
