Dacre Village Hall - Wednesday 6th August 2014

Back to Dacre Village Hall to complete the walling task. Catriona, Chris, Graham,  Richard H,  Roderick, Roger and Barry remained steadfast under the threat of a good soaking which thankfully failed to materialise.

Dacre Village Hall - Wednesday 30 July 2014 (pm)

The task here was to rebuild a retaining wall in the village hall car park which adjoins the public toilet building.

First it was necessary to remove the wooden fence and long grass before we could gain access to the stones

 Just before the lunch break we were invited into the Dacre United Reform Church across the road for a welcome cup of tea 

After lunch a start is made on laying the foundations with Richard H and Roderick keen to get going

The wall starts to rise up

 At close of play

 …and back next week to finish the job
